                               RESOLUTION NO. 19293
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
                   WORKS TO CONTRACT WITH EUGENE BOWMAN,
                   APPRAISER, TO APPRAISE ONE (1) TRACT RELATIVE
                   TO VALLEYBROOK DRAINAGE EASEMENT, VALLEYBROOK
                   GOLF CLUB, FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE
                   THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($1,000.00),
                   WHICH AMOUNT INCLUDES FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100
                   DOLLARS ($500.00) FOR ONE TRACT, PLUS FIVE
                   HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($500.00) FOR
                   PREPARATION AND APPEARANCE AS AN EXPERT
                   WITNESS FOR CONDEMNATION SERVICES, IF

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Interim Administrator of the
       Department of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to 
contract
       with Eugene Bowman, Appraiser, to appraise one (1) tract relative 

       to Valleybrook Drainage Easement, Valleybrook Golf Club, for an
       amount not to exceed $1,000.00, which amount includes $500.00 for 

       one tract, plus $500.00 for preparation and appearance as an
       expert witness for condemnation services, if necessary.
